Our lotion is made with Organic Coconut Oil, Organic Shea Butter, Organic Cocoa Butter, Aloe Butter, Lavender Infused Organic Avocado/Organic Sunflower Oil, Organic Vegetable Glycerin, Marshmallow Root, Vitamin E and Essential oils that help with burns, cooling, and soothing your sore skin: peppermint for cooling, rosemary for tightening, chamomile for dryness, and lemongrass for toning and for it's antiseptic qualities.
*May be remnant herb fragments in this product as we infuse our own oils.

It never failed that each time my kids were with grandma the kids would come home with reddened cheeks, shoulders and noses. Instantly I would pull out my After Sun Lotion, rub it on their little faces, shoulders and anywhere else they were tinged red. By the morning, their skin had no signs the sun got the best of them! Generally, a commercial after sun lotion consists of a goopy green gel. It’s labeled at “Aloe Gel”. Here are the ingredients to a popular gel. “Water purified, Alcohol Denat., Glycerin, Polysorbate 20, Carbomer, Triethanolamine, Imidazolidinylurea, Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice (Aloe Vera Gel), Fragrance, lodopropynyl Butylcarbamate, benzophenone - 4, Cl 19140, Cl 42090”. YIKES!! I can tell you that there are less than a handful of ingredients in that chemical cocktail that I would put on my body!! Want to try something better?
After Sun Lotions are designed to heal your skin from heat damage and shock, refresh and cool the skin, and moisturize sun damaged areas. Even if your skin doesn't get “burnt”, an after sun lotion is recommended to promote hydration, counteract dryness that normally comes along with sun exposure. It will also help prevent peeling and keep your tan looking healthy and beautiful.
Our After Sun lotion contains only all natural, beautiful ingredients. There are several key ingredients to our lotion. First and foremost we utilize Organic Aloe Butter. This is Organic Coconut Oil that has been infused with Organic Aloe Powder. It is an incredible plant full of nutritional benefits. It helps to heal skin wounds, particularly effective on burns, abrasions and psoriasis. Aloe acts as an analgesic by helping to relieve pain. Nothing quite feels as good on a burn as fresh cut aloe gel! Aloe can also help to relieve itching. This is useful for bug bites and healing of new skin. It also softens and soothes skin. Coconut Oil is well know for its skin uses. This is a hydrating and moisturizing oil. We also use Organic Vegetable Glycerin. This is a natural humectant which pulls moisture into the skin and keeps it there. Deeply moisturizing Organic Butters, Cocoa and Shea are in there as well. Cocoa Butter is one of the richest moisturizers and promotes skin elasticity. Shea Butter helps to prevent skin damage. We also add several essential oils to combat your burn. Most notably-Lavender Oil. Lavender EO actually helps to prevent peeling and reverses the effect of sunburns. It has been known to treat burns of all degrees. Peppermint EO helps to give a cooling effect which is very welcome to hot, tender skin. It is highly refreshing and actually hydrates burnt skin. Lemongrass Essential Oil not only gives our lotion that great smell, but it also helps with sunburn pain. It has also been know to bring down fevers. Because of this, lemongrass can help to regulate your body temperature when your skin is so hot and you feel so cold.
