A ton of powerful healing ingredients jam packed into a 2 ozsmall glass jar of awesomeness! This special concoction includes Organic Coconut Oil, Organic Olive Oil, Organic Flaxseed Oil, Organic Sunflower Oil, all infused with Calendula, Chamomile and Lavender. After the oil is all good and infused we add some good ole Vitamin E, Organic Beeswax, Organic Lavender and Tea Tree essential oils and medical grade leptospertmum honey! Then it is HAND STIRRED for a reeeeeallllly long time until it sets to a perfect consistency ready to help all those cuts, scrapes and burns. This is something you NEED to have in your home!

If you are slowly gathering Green Housewives Products into your home, I would suggest our Organic Healing Ointment as one of the first things to purchase! This product replaces the nasty Neosporin in your first aid kit. It contains the antibiotic Neomycin. A vast number of the population is actually allergic to this antibiotic and don’t even know it. Krystal’s son, Ethan, was one of the people with the allergy!
Our Healing Ointment is one of my favorite things that we have. It is so multi-purpose. We use it on EVERYTHING in this house. From burns, scrapes, mosquito bites, stubbed toes…to he looked at me funny…this ointment is a CURE ALL! You will not be disappointed.
Our healing ointment came to be when a friend called to say he needed an ointment made for speeding the healing after getting a tattoo. Our original ointment contained Raw Honey as our special ingredient. We then utilized Medihoney, which is from New Zeeland. It's a medical grade honey that helps to draw out infections. After a while we decided to move to a UMF certified Manuka honey. This has created a more smooth texture to our healing ointment that we are loving!
We have added an additional essential oil. Helichrysum. This specific oil has been on my “to buy” list ever since we started making this ointment. Unfortunately, Helichrysum oil costs an arm and two legs. When I first developed the recipe for our healing ointment, we were just starting out and weren’t able to purchase this. However, we were able to recently purchase this amazing oil and add it to our already awesome Healing Ointment!
We start out with an oil base that we infuse ourselves. We use the herbs chamomile, lavender and calendula! All perfect for healing! We heat that up with Organic beeswax, Organic Coconut Oil and essential oils. It is then poured into individual jars, honey is added and the stirring begins. This ointment is INDEED stirred by hand, one jar at a time. When you heat the honey, you lose a lot of the medicinal properties.
In the finished product you can see concentrated areas of honey throughout the jar. Don’t worry…nothing is wrong with your ointment. It is just proof, that we go above and beyond to bring you some awesome stuff!!
