While researching the benefits of both serums and moisturizers it seemed as the serum would be more beneficial to your face as opposed to a moisturizer. Facial serums are designed to penetrate all 3 layers of your skin and not just the top layer. This helps to heal skin problems from deep below the surface. Think of face serums as highly concentrated “facial treatments” containing things like vitamins, amino acids, antioxidants, and essential oils that will restore skin elasticity and retain moisture while regulating oil production. Serums are made for ingredients with very small molecules which help them pass through the skin into the deepest parts quickly. Since they are highly concentrated you only need to use 4-5 drops for your face and neck. While many creams and moisturizers carry a small percentage of what you call active ingredients (most products contain a large % of water)…our face serums carry almost 100% ACTIVE INGREDIENTS. Think about how much better and quicker they will work! We have formulated 5 different types of face serums since all skin is not created equal. These are Dry, Oily, Normal, Rosacea, and Revitalizing (for mature skin).
The Serum should be applied in the morning and/ or before bedtime on clean damp skin. To even further accelerate healing we suggest pairing this with our anti-aging night cream in the evening. Although, the serum will work just fine on its own as we have added moisturizing oils as well.
