Our pain relief rub is perfect for massaging into sore and achy muscles and joints.  Made with beeswax*, coconut oil*, herb infused olive*, sunflower*, avocado* oils and many essential oils known for pain relief. (*organic)

How many times have you suffered from some pain and reached for aspirin, ibuprofen, icy hot, Aleve, or some other random pain reducer? If you are more like my husband the answer is a lot. (don’t tell him I said that) If you are more like me the answer is almost never. I have to be almost dying before I will take something for pain. I just don’t like putting that kind of stuff in or on my body.
As you know, many of our products come from the suggestions of our customers and their needs. This is how our pain relief rub was born. We had a long time customer complain of sciatica pain. She was in so much pain and wasn’t getting relief from anywhere.
We did what we always do and research specific EOs used in sciatica. I already knew I wanted to use Wintergreen. We use that in our sore muscle salts. Wintergreen has the highest level of salicylic acid of any essential oil. Salicylic Acid is what is in aspirin, however, in wintergreen oil, it isn’t synthetic. 1 tsp of wintergreen essential oil is equal to 20 doses of aspirin. This is why it is imperative that any product that contains wintergreen oil is kept out of the reach of children! Peppermint oil is also another oil with amazing pain relief properties. The menthol contained in peppermint oil help to give that “cool feeling”. Many commercial pain management products contain menthol in some form to help with pain. Another oil that we added is Black Pepper. Black Pepper is a hot oil, just the very opposite of peppermint. (think icy hot) Black Pepper is an analgesic and an anti-inflammatory. We added several other oils that would be beneficial ...in fact there are NINE different essential oils in our pain rub. 
Besides the wonderful synergy of essential oils, we added a special ingredient...beside love. In this specific rub we included Arnica Herbal Oil. Arnica has been used medicinally for centuries. This oil has been infused with Arnica flowers to produce the herbal oil that is used specifically for aches and pains. Arnica Oil helps to inhibit inflammation and swelling. It can also help decrease pain, swelling and discoloration from bruising. Using arnica oil helps to stimulate the site of an injury. It helps blood flow to and away from the site resulting in a quicker recovery time.
